Asakusa; Kaminari Mon, Sensoji Temple, and Nakamise Shopping Arcade

Very touristic and photogenic, with lots of tourists, also locals. Safe and friendly downtown offers variety of reasonable dining places, shopping streets to get souveniors and sweets. The busiest are new year days, midsummer firework day, and cherry blossom season, and traditional festival days throughout the year.
