Caldera of Nakadake with beautiful green water inside, visible only with good weather condition !

Mt. Nakadake is the only one active among 5 Aso mountains. (It’s funny that Mt. Aso means the five mountains and the whole huge area !). This Caldera is accessible by ropeway or ordinal cars (but not big buses), and provide natural mineral water for residents of Kumamoto prefecture, electric energy, and of course, Onsen hot springs in the neighbourhood.
